Many times we live hoping that change and social improvement will come from outside, forgetting the important role that the family has to make the world in which we live a better, more just and humane place.
And it is that a strong and united family in affection and love, organized and committed to education in values, significantly strengthens the base of any society. A role recognized by Pope John Paul II when he speaks of family humanism and which states that social progress is linked to the future of families.
Family, “source” to nurture a fairer society
The idea is as simple as it is revolutionary. Families, who meet and associate in everyday life, dynamize and regenerate society in a profound way, through a family lifestyle, which becomes a fruitful path for the humanization of the person. The family would have, for John Paul II, a dimension of “source” that would exert like authentic motor of social transformation.
